Terms & Conditions

CHECK-IN POLICY
The person who's name the room was booked under must be present and part of the travelling party staying at the lodge. A valid credit card (not debit card) and identification in the same name that the room was booked under will be required on arrival. The credit card used to book must be presented on arrival, even if a different card in the same name will be used to check-in. If the guest fails to comply with any of the above requirements, we reserve the right to deny check-in and keep any deposit or moneys already paid, as well as charge the total amount of the booking. A pre-authorisation for the amount of $1 AUD will be taken from the credit card used to check-in on arrival. If the pre-authorisation declines and cannot be taken from a valid card in the same name as the booking, we reserve the right to deny check-in and keep any deposit or moneys already paid, as well as charge the total amount of the booking.

THIRD PAYMENT POLICY
If any room nights or additional charges are to be paid for by a third party, or anyone else other than the person who's name the booking was made under, the lodge must be notified more than 48 hours prior to 2pm on your arrival date. An email address must be provided with the notification, so that a credit card authority to charge form can be sent to the third party liable for any charges. The completed authority to charge form accompanied by any attachments required pursuant to the form must be returned to the lodge by email or fax at least 24 hours prior to 2pm on your arrival date. If the guest fails to comply with any of these requirements, we reserve the right to charge the original credit card provided for the booking. If payment cannot be taken from the original card provided, we reserve the right to deny check-in and keep any deposit or moneys already paid, as well as charge the total amount of the booking.

Please note, any credit card or debit card payments made at the property will be subject to a surcharge: 2% for Visa and Mastercard and 3% for American Express.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours prior to 2pm on your arrival date. Any booking modifications, including date changes and/or a full cancellation of your booking made within 48 hours of 2pm on your arrival date will incur a charge of the first night booked. Any booking modifications requested after check in must occur at least 48 hours prior to the change taking place to avoid any charges. This term does not apply to bookings that have nights that fall between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive), for the policy applicable to these bookings, please see below.

If any night of the booking fall between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive), cancellation must occur before 31 October to incur no fee. Any cancellation made after 31 October will incur a charge equal to the total amount of the booking. This policy supersedes any other terms written anywhere else for stay dates between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive).

BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
Date changes are subject to availability and any applicable charges. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rates are subject to change and higher rates may apply.

CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit card at any time prior to your arrival date for any amount, but not more than the total amount of your booking, including any extras. If a pre-authorisation declines or is unable to be taken from the card, or if the card is found to be invalid, we will request a new credit card number to be given. The new credit card must be in the same name as the booking. If it is not in the same name as the booking, an authority to charge form will need to be completed pursuant to our third party payment terms. If no response is given, or no new card is provided within 48 hours of us notifying you, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If a new card provided declines or is unable to be pre-authorised for any reason, or is invalid, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with no further notice.
