OCEANFRONT POOL VILLAS (FOR 2 ADULTS)
The resort’s freestanding villas are crafted from local vesi timber and feature spacious decks, plunge pools, outdoor bathrooms with open-air shower, modern luxury interiors and sublime views. Each villa is appointed with a luxurious king-size bed, french-press coffee, minibar and BOSE docking station with full-loaded iPod. Screened-louvers and glass surround all four sides of the villa capturing the sea breeze, aided by a ceiling fan if desired. All villas enjoy front row seats to the Pacific ocean and are a distance from each other to ensure the utmost privacy.
TWO-BEDROOM OCEANFRONT POOL VILLA (FOR UP TO 4 PERSONS)
The two-bedroom oceanfront pool villa can accommodate up to four persons across two bedrooms which can be arranged for 2 king beds or 1 King and 2 King singles. It has two ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen with fully-stocked refrigerator and a spacious deck with sun loungers and plunge pool. Please note for children that the plunge pool in the deck is not fenced.
The Remote Resort has a menu of handcrafted signature experiences and excursions which seek to connect you with the natural beauty of the people and places of northern Fiji and the Rainbow Reef. Daily signature experiences and excursions are determined based on the prevailing tides, weather and the preferences of in-house guests. Complimentary resort experiences include guided snorkeling on the Nukuni house reef (snorkel gear included), the coconut & pina colada show, chef's cooking demo, kayaking, bocce, volleyball, handline fishing and more. See all of the experiences offered here: http://www.theremoteresort.com/fiji-remote-experience/
Food is a passion at The Remote Resort so we value knowing your likes and dislikes before you arrive, particularly any allergies. The general approach to food is fresh, flavorful and local. You can see sample menus here: http://www.theremoteresort.com/dining/
VILLA-ONLY OR ALL-INCLUSIVE RATES
All rates booked directly with the resort include all meals, non-alcoholic beverages and resort transfers from/to Taveuni or Savusavu. All rates booked on other travel websites (such as Expedia, Orbitz, Jetsetter, Tablet, etc) are villa-only rates - you will need to contact the resort to arrange and prepay for the mandatory gourmet meal plan and resort transfers separately - see here for details: http://www.fijiresort.com.fj/online-travel-website-bookings/
HOW TO GET HERE
Access to The Remote Resort is via either Taveuni or Savusavu (both a 1 hour flight from Nadi international airport (NAN)) with Fiji Airways (fijiairways.com) or the charter airline Island Hoppers (email: email@example.com).
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring shoes suitable to be worn in the water, as well as 'dry' shoes suitable for hiking (joggers/sneakers). Dress is casual and lightweight fabrics are perfect for daytime year-round. During the winter months of June - August a light sweater or wrap is suitable for cooler evenings. We occasionally have mosquitos (usually following wet weather) so please bring insect repellant. For visits to the local villages it is appropriate for women to cover their shoulders and knees (if you have one, a sulu or sarong is often the perfect item for this occasion). And of course the usual vacation/holiday items of hat, sunscreen, camera, etc all apply but there is no need to bring beach towels. There is extra sunscreen available for purchase at the resort should you run out. Bring your own snorkel gear if you have your favorites but we have some snorkel gear here for your complimentary use.
Don't hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, we are always happy to help.
