Each one is private and self-contained, hand-built from natural timbers and surrounded by temperate rainforest. The warm and comfortable huts are located in the heart of Cradle Valley, just a three miniute stroll from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Heed the call and head outside for an invigorating walk through scenic wilderness, or succumb to the lure of the hearth and curl up by a blazing log fire with a glass of Tassie's finest.

Marsupial Cabins - gas fire

Cabins have a sturdy Queen bed, two built-in bunk beds, sofa and dining table in the living sleeping area, a separate ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and a well equipped kitchen. They have private verandas and the cosy interiors are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timbers and warmed by a gas log fire. wheelchair accessible.

Terms & Conditions

A 50% deposit for each night's accommodation is charged at the time of booking with the balance payable on arrival.

If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of $25.00. If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, or if you do not arrive on the date scheduled, your deposit will be forfeited and any remaining nights may be re-sold. Requests for changes to dates booked will be treated as a request to cancel the original booking and make a fresh booking. Christmas holiday bookings (24 December - 15 January) require 30 days notice of cancellation for refund of deposit. All requests for refunds must be in writing.
