Q. Do I need a credit card to make a booking?
A. Yes, a room reserved with your credit card details will ensure that you are guaranteed a room at the Macquarie Inn. In peak period I would strongly advise that you do so because without a credit card we cannot secure a booking for you. No deposit is transacted on your card; however we reserve the right to apply a deposit.
We accept all major credit cards and of course, cash.

Q. What is your venue's cancellation policy
A. Single room cancellations made 24 hours prior to the hotels check-in time of 2pm can be done so with no charge. Cancellations after this time will incur a one night cancellation fee.
During special event periods and group bookings The Macquarie Inn reserves the right to charge part or full payment of the booking and any cancellation is subject to a full cancellation fee equivalent to the total accommodation charge for the intended duration of the stay.
24hrs Cancellation Policy – Single rooms – are able to make a cancellation 24 hours prior to the hotels check-in time of 2pm without incurring a charge. Cancellations after this time will incur a one night cancellation fee for each room.
72hr Cancellation Policy – Groups of 2 rooms to 5 rooms and single room bookings that are booked during peak periods that require a cancellation must do so within 72 hours prior to the hotels check-in time of 2pm without incurring a charge. Cancellations after this time will incur a one night cancellation fee for each room.
7 days Cancellation Policy – Groups of 6 rooms or more that requires a cancellation must do so outside of 7days prior to the hotels check- in time of 2pm without incurring a charge. Cancellations after this time will incur a one night cancellation fee for each room.
