Larnach Castle

Stay in the gardens of Larnach Castle in a boutique Lodge (qualmarked 4 star guest & hosted) or choose our budget style accommodation and stay at the Stable Stay.

Larnach Lodge is a re-creation of a colonial farm building, in the grounds of Larnach Castle. There are twelve beautiful themed bedrooms with private facilities, each individually decorated. Every room has a splendid view of the ocean 1000 feet below

The Stable Stay is in the historic Stables building, in the grounds of Larnach Castle. There are six individual bedrooms (the beds are made up with sheets and warm coverings) each with tea and coffee making facilities. Towels and amenities are provided. There are individual lockable-shared showers and toilet facilities - please note these are shared bathroom facilities.

Both accomodation packages include Bed, Breakfast and entry to the Castle and Gardens.

Larnach Castle is located 20 minutes from Dunedin city and is central to the unique wildlife attractions on the Otago Peninsula.

Breakfast is available between 8.00am - 9.30am and is included in your room rate.

The Castle Café is open daily from 9.30am - 4.30pm.

Exclusively for our accommodation guests - an experience not to be missed! Enjoy dinner at Larnach Castle in one of the lovely dining rooms. A three-course table d'hote menu is served house party style at one sitting - a chance to meet the other guests. The dinner is prepared especially for our guests, so must be booked, reconfirmed and ordered from our menu by 5.00pm on the day.

Also included in this package is an Elm Wildlife 'Peninsula Encounters' guided tour (duration approx 5 hours and pick-up/drop-off from the Castle). DINNER MUST BE PRE-BOOKED BY 5PM

We require a deposit of one night's accommodation on all rooms to secure a booking. Bookings without a deposit will not be held.
Please supply credit card details (Visa or Mastercard, we do not accept Diners or American Express) plus expiry date and the three-digit card security code (CSC) number from the back of the credit card.
Please indicate if you wish to be charged in your own currency (not applicable to all currencies).
Once the deposit has been taken a confirmation email will be sent to you separately.

Your deposit less a 10% handling fee is refundable if the booking is cancelled more than 96 hours (4 days) prior to your arrival date. If the booking is cancelled after this, the deposit is non-refundable if the room is not resold.
