Camelot offers a choice of award winning designer cottages for couples who seek that dream getaway and, in a separate guest wing attached to our single storey farmhouse, we offer the very best in 'Room Only' accommodation.

Tamborine Cottage, Hinterland Cottage and St Bernard Cottage have each been specified to a 5 star level by our market leading builders and interior designers to provide the utmost in spacious (60sqm), open plan comfort. Each cottage includes a huge double spa bath, king sized bed, large shower, vanity unit, log burner, leather lounge chaise and recliner, LCD TV, DVD/VCR and sound system. The finest towels and spa robes add to the luxury of your cottage. The Kitchen facilities include a dishwasher and optional mini bar and we provide continental or comprehensive breakfast hampers throughout your stay. Our cottage guests have been amazed at the quality finish of the cottages and their large size. Our St Bernard Cottage is more spacious as well as being wheelchair friendly and fully compliant and registered with the spinal injuries assn. Further specific details are available on request.

With an AAAT 4.5* rating our Bed and Breakfast 'Mountain Escape' facilities are second to none on Tamborine Mountain. 'Mountain Escape' accommodation is in our separate guest wing, added in 2000, that contains 3 air conditioned queen bedrooms, all en-suited and opening out onto a large covered deck. Enjoy the guest lounge, complete with wood burner, gazebo or other garden quiet spots enabling you to rapidly unwind and fully relax - your perfect mountain escape.

For our 'Mountain Escape' guests a light breakfast can be arranged (prior to your arrival please) however there are so many places to take breakfast on the mountain that we have almost stopped doing breakfast altogether and reduced our 'rate' accordingly. A full buffet breakfast can be obtained at the local cheese factory at the weekend for just $15pp.

Set in a seductive mountain environment, Camelot delivers something special especially in winter with log fires in our cottages and Mountain Escape guest lounge.

Many tourists mistakenly believe that Gallery Walk IS the mountain and proximity thereto is important. (For day trippers that is probably the case!) Overnight visitors will soon find that most quality accommodation, restaurants, tourist attractions and national parks are located well away from the Gallery Walk as, with few exceptions, Gallery Walk is only open from 10am to 4pm. The real happening is elsewhere and nothing is more than five minutes away from anywhere else!

We also rate very highly with the locals who use our friendly hosting and quality accommodation extensively to house their family overflows.

Terms & Conditions

A deposit of 50% of the entire booking value is taken from your credit card to guarantee the cottage or room for you. The balance is payable on arrival.

Check in is usually from 14.00 to 18.00 hours and check out circa 10.00am. Please call to discuss other arrival times. Earlier check ins and later check outs may be available at an additional cost.

The deposit becomes non-refundable if a cancellation occurs within 30 days of the arrival date. The full balance of the stay is payable on arrival and any changes to the duration of the stay made within the 30 days prior to arrival, or after arrival, will forfit the balance of the amount due from the original booking.

An administration charge of $40 may be made for changes to the original booking.

NB: CAMELOT DOES NOT ACCEPT CHILDREN {except by direct prior arrangement - call us to discuss on (07)55454380}. Guests who arrive at Camelot with children will lose their booking and their deposit!
