Wayne and Susan are delighted to welcome you to The Oriental Hotel and the Cycle Inn.

A proud reminder of bygone days, The Oriental has retained its mystique. It is the only hotel in Ireland Street and shares its central location with shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. It is now used as a B&B guesthouse and a motor inn newly retitled "Cycle Inn: with 3 motel rooms and 4, two bedroom units (two with 2 bathrooms each). On site there is also a cafe (Cafe velo) and an Indian Tandoori restaurant. Wayne and Susan have parttclarly set out to cater to the needs of cyclists.

Originally built in 1862, the historic guest house has been lovingly restored to its former glory, incorporating both antique and more modern decor.

With five beautifully furnished heritage ensuite rooms (four B&B suites incuding a cooked breakfast in the tariff) and such a friendly ambience, it's no wonder guests choose to return to take a step back in time. While these rooms retain their history, it is done so with clean elegant lines.

The fully licensed Cafe Velo will be open from 7am until 10pm in the warmer months. In the cooler months enjoy the wood fire.
