Ratua Private Island

It is our pleasure to introduce you to our beautiful paradise in the South Pacific that is Ratua Private Island, a proud member of Relais & Chateaux.

Ratua is Vanuatu’s unique boutique eco lodge, 146 lush acres located approximately 30 minutes South-East of Espiritu Santo, and boasting 15 romantic bicentennial Indonesian-style villas in a serene and naturally stunning atmosphere; all located within 3 charming villages. Each Villa has been beautifully decorated with eclectic, vintage pieces and offer guests the supreme luxury of a private deck or beach.

Another village, the Yacht Club acts as a meeting place and the Island’s social center, composed of a dining room, lounge and bar each in their own sanctuary house. The Yacht Club is surrounded by a media room, jetty cabana, sandy beach and deck with comfortable chaise lounges; guests also enjoy complimentary wireless internet whilst they relax in this serene atmosphere.

Home to numerous species of domestic animals such as horses, cows, pigs, chickens and goats, Ratua stands by a firm environmentally friendly philosophy and endeavours to provide organic products throughout the resort. For this same ecological reason, you will find the absence of televisions and air-conditioning units in your villa(s) in keeping with our low carbon footprint endeavours; we however ensure your ultimate comfort with efficient ceiling fans in all of our rooms.
